Please read the following guidelines carefully as they have changed. Submissions that do not meet our guidelines will not be answered, due to the volume of submissions we receive.
As of November 1, 2011 we are seeking (especially) the following submissions: young adult, including teen and tween book proposals; early readers for elementary students, especially "teaching" books; and picture books with illustrations. We will still consider book proposals from other genres; including nonfiction, fiction, mystery, romance, inspirational, science fiction, horror, regional works, and poetry. However, we are most interested in books for the younger audience.
If you would like to submit your work for consideration for publication by Little Creek Books, you must send a query with the following information to us first.
1. A one-page synopsis of your book and if applicable a sample of your artwork
2. A brief bio including your previous writing experiences, especially with regard to any works you may have had published
3. An overview of your marketing plan

If we decide we would like to read a complete manuscript we will contact you by email. Please allow at least three months for our answer. Multiple submissions are allowed. We do not wish to impend your journey toward publication.

Little Creek Books is a cooperative publishing venue for first-time and established authors. LCB is an imprint of Mountain Girl Press. You may learn more about MGP at www.mountaingirlpress.com.
We are also interested in republishing books, which are currently out-of-print, for authors who would like to pursue a “second life” for their work.
